This is the best tour for families. The pace is moderate, the distances travelled by road are both short and on good roads, while on long distances we use scheduled flights. Families will enjoy the elephant orphanage and feeding giraffes at the giraffe centre. A guided walk on Crescent island is a once in a lifetime activity, walking among herds of wildebeest, zebra, giraffe and impala, with no predators on the island, this is definitely a highlight for children as well as adults. Children are also enrolled into the Adventurers’ club at no cost.
Day 1: Arrive Nairobi
Our representative will greet you upon your arrival at the airport and transfer you to Southern Sun Mayfair hotel Nairobi. Dinner is included at the hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi
Nairobi, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere is considered one of Africa’s most appealing cities. Today you have a chance to sample a bit of it on a full day excursion. After a leisurely breakfast your Real Africa guide will drive you through the city’s most interesting streets to the Karen suburbs.
You will visit first the Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage, a focal point for Elephant Conservation in Kenya. Visitors are allowed from 11.00am to 12.00noon. At this time the calves are being exercised and bathed and visitors are free to watch. This is a good centre for general information on Elephants and their Conservation. After this you will stop over at the Galleria mall for a KFC lunch (Not included).
Your next stop, Giraffe Centre, is a wonderful and refreshing experience. This tour gives you a complete up close and personal interaction, where guests have the opportunity to view giraffes and even hand feed them.
Your tour ends with a visit to Kazuri Beads, the jewellery and pottery centre. Kazuri, which is Swahili for small and beautiful, has perfected the art of using clay as to make beads, finished jewellery, tableware and pottery. To add to the overall shopping experience visitors can take a guided tour of the factory to see the work that goes into producing these unique beads.
Dinner is included at the hotel.
Day 3: Nairobi - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast embark on your leisurely scenic drive up the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley. Once at the top your guide will stop at an appropriate view point where you will have breathtaking views of the valley.
Lake Naivasha is a short distance from Nairobi and your total driving time will be just about one hour and a half. Check in to your Lodge and have lunch. This afternoon enjoy a boat ride on the lake to visit schools of hippopotami and watch the hundreds of bird species that are resident here. Your boat will dock at the crescent island where you will walk among zebra, giraffe, gazelle, impala and wildebeest, escorted by a ranger.
Take a short boat ride back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha - Olpejeta Wildlife Conservancy
A very scenic drive up the wall of the Great Rift Valley will bring you to Nyahururu falls, Kenya’s longest waterfalls. After a short break here you will continue in a North-easterly direction to Olpejeta wildlife conservancy and check in to Sweetwaters camp. A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Olpejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and safari luxury. After lunch there will be some time to settle in, maybe take a dip in the swimming pool or enjoy a camel ride at the camp. In the early evening you will join your Real Africa guide for a game drive in the conservancy, home to all the 'Big Five'' and a host of other game. Visit Baraka, the tame black rhino and also the chimpanzee sanctuary, both located with-in the conservancy.

Day 5: Olpejeta - Maasai Mara
After breakfast your will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Maasai Mara. Upon arrival your hosts will meet you at the airstrip and take an introductory game drive in the reserve, on your way to your camp. Check in and have lunch then enjoy the swimming pool and other camp facilities. Children will be enrolled into the camp’s Adventurer’s club at no cost and adults can enjoy the game drives while children are taken care of by their Adventurer’s club hosts. This family program provides a fun and exciting opportunity for the children to be taught about the wild by the camp’s Maasai naturalists who specialize in plants, wildlife and survival skills. Your evening game drive presents the chance to explore the Talek area of Maasai Mara, an area known for an abundance of game.

Day 6: Maasai Mara
The camp offers three game drives daily in open-sided 4 X 4 safari vehicles. The camp is located in the middle of the four game viewing areas of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, a short distance from the Mara river which the wildebeests and zebra cross during their annual migration. The Mara is 'Big' game country and boasts the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa. Game drives are always fulfilling as the animals are easy to spot.

Day 7: Maasai Mara - Depart
Morning flight back to Nairobi. You will be met by our representative at Wilson Airport and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
